Karen Romero Siu

Karen is a consultant for AFSC Latin America in the Mexican Program, working in Tijuana.  She is a graduate of the Law School of the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) and has a degree in associative mediation. Karen has worked in migration issues at the border for over 9 years. 

Douglas Juárez

Douglas is AFSC's Regional Human Mobility Coordinator for AFSC in Latin America and the Caribbean.  He has worked in social projects with civil society with a focus on advocacy, public policies and human rights. Douglas enjoys being in nature, meeting new people and trying different foods. In the future, he would like to be more immersed in local community work and learn from native populations.
