King County announces measures to attack racial disparity in juvenile justice system

AFSC's Seattle Community Justice Program has supported the efforts of young anti-racist organizers to derail a proposed $212 million youth jail and instead develop community-base anti-racist alternatives to detention. Now officials from King County--which includes Seattle--have announced measures to address racial disparity in the juvenile justice system.
