This list was created by Linda Sanchez, Alva Martinez, Jacqueline Garcia-Martinez, and Anthony Madrigral from their workshop, "Brown solidarity for Black power in Trump times," at AFSC's 2017 Centennial summit. See this list and others from the summit online at afsc.org/5ways. 1. Connect with undocumented youth and listen to their stories.

2. Uplift the stories of undocumented Black immigrants.

3. Support efforts to create sanctuary cities in your local cities.

  • Seek local migrant rights organizations leading these efforts.
  • Respect the space and don’t impose your own ideologies.

4. Fight against state militarism and end the policing of people of color.

5. Donate to youth organizations working for social justice.
