Joshua Saleem is a lifelong St. Louis resident and is currently the Peace Education Program Director for AFSC’s St. Louis office. He works with high school youth developing conflict resolution, civic engagement, and community organizing skills. He also is developing youth anti-racist organizers through the AFSC’s Freedom School and a group called Youth Undoing Institutional Racism (YUIR).
Joshua has been interviewed for Think Progress, MintPress News, Al Akhbar and Public News Service. Joshua earned his B.A. in Political Science from Saint Louis University in 2006.
