Fabiola Flores Muñoz serves as the Regional Director of AFSC’s programs in Latin America and the Carribean, and oversees programs in El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, and Mexico.  

Fabiola has over 15 years of legal, international development and humanitarian experience across South America, Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Her expertise lies in monitoring human rights, conflict resolution and peace building, capacity enhancement of local government and local community, access to justice programs, and women’s rights.

Fabiola has appeared in several media outlets, including on WHYY’s Radio Times, La Hora, La Tribuna Guatemala, and Radio Emisoras Unidas.

Before coming to AFSC, she worked with the Norwegian Refugee Council, Danish Refugee Council, International Relief and Development, Jesuit Refugee Service, and Save the children. She holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Aid, and is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.
