Please watch the videos linked below for detailed instructions & training:
You can test your ability to join a WebEx meeting using this link: http://www.webex.com/test-meeting.html
WebEx requires a browser plugin or java in order to operate, and the above link will prompt you to install the plugin if you do not have it. Certain security settings may require you to authorize the plugin to run, either the first time you enter a meeting or every time - please be alert for these at the top or bottom of your browser window.
If you are playing a more involved role in your meeting (such as giving a presentation, being interviewed, or even just connecting to WebEx for the first time) we would be happy to offer a one on one test connection - please let us know if you would like to set one up, you can reach out to AFSC Meeting Support directly, or through the person hosting your meeting.
Your Meeting Audio
Please join your meeting using COMPUTER AUDIO and a headset if possible.
If you need to join by PHONE AUDIO, make sure that you connect to WebEx on your computer first to obtain your attendee ID number - this links your web session with your call and is required to enable some key features like self-muting and webcam video.
If you are joining by PHONE ONLY, or connecting via MOBILE APP you may have a limited experience compared to connecting via computer.
Older versions of Firefox browser may not work with WebEx, if you are having trouble please try a different browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer) and consider updating your Firefox.
If you still need help reach out the the AFSC IT Helpdesk at Helpdesk@afsc.org / 1-800-500-AFSCAFSC
The Helpdesk is open Weekdays, 9am-5pm Eastern Time. If you are connecting outside of those hours, or are involved in an outside event sponsored by an AFSC staffer please contact your event organizer directly for help.
