Aaron Jorgensen-Briggs of Catholic Peace Ministry is walking alongside Nobel nominee Kathy Kelly, Brian Terrell, and dozens of other good people from Illinois to Iowa, making a lot of stops along the way!   

This 'Ground the Drones' walk from Illinois to Iowa will be in Des Moines Friday with a 6 PM discussion at Drake University, followed by a Sunday 1 PM peace vigil at the 3100 McKinley Air Guard site and a 3 PM

Friday June 21 – Des Moines: 6 pm at Drake University, Sussman (formerly Bulldog, in Olmsted)  Theater,

2875 University Ave.

Kathy Kelly, Nobel Peace Prize nominee who recently returned from months living in Afghanistan, will speak along with Brian Terrell, who just served a six-month prison sentence protesting Drones

Sunday, June 23 –     Des Moines:          10 am if you want to walk from the IA State Capitol bldg.

PEACE RALLY: 1 pm at Iowa Air National Guard, 3100 McKinley Ave

CELEBRATION / RECEPTION at 3 PM :    Includes Food and Drink, bring something to share if you like  !!!

3pm at Friends Meeting House, 4211 Grand Ave.
