If you're going out to events where you know presidential candidates will be present, or if you think you might run into one at the park or plaza, we recommend that you get prepared to let them know what's on your mind and to find out what's on theirs. Don't forget:
- Be concise;
- Know what you're talking about and why it matters to you;
- Educate the candidate -- and whoever else might be listening -- about the issue; and
- Frame your question in a way that a real answer is expected.
