A 16-page analysis of malnutrition in post-war Germany includes lots of data as well as wrenching details of children who are “not starving enough” to qualify for food aid. While Americans wanted to turn their backs on the misfortunes of their wartime enemies, AFSC insisted on striving to feed and clothe these fellow human beings, especially children.
