We Divest

AFSC’s Israel-Palestine divestment program provides campus and community activists with the training, resource, and ongoing support needed to organize and lead effective and sustainable divestment campaigns.  Included in this work is AFSC’s support for the “We Divest” TIAA-CREF divestment campaign and our joint coordination with Jewish Voice for Peace of the “We Divest” Student Leadership Team.

By supporting these grassroots movements and challenging US government policy, AFSC is working to help realize a just and lasting peace in Israel and Palestine. This work is guided by ASFC’s Principles for a Just and Lasting Peace in Palestine and Israel which recognize that peace will only be achieved when Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem ends; when refugees’ right of return is addressed; and when everyone’s rights are respected equally.
