Call for Spirited Action: Working for human rights in Palestine/Israel with QPIN

A Conversation with Dalit Baum, Director of the Economic Activism Program at AFSC and co-founder of Who Profits, and Steve Tamari, Associate Professor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Palestinian Quaker who serves on the Steering Committee for the Quaker Palestine/Israel Network (QPIN). 

This conversation took place on November 20, 2014. After introductions, Steve Tamari begins by giving a "5-minute" history of Palestinian resistance [min 6.00]. Dalit Baum presents a history of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement, as well as how Quakers can join with others around the country for a world-wide campaign to bring about justice in Palestine [min 15.25]. Steve talks about how Quakers have been involved in BDS and QPIN [min 28.35], and the second half of the call is a Q&A with Friends from around the country [min 33.56].
