Congress is negotiating funding levels for the upcoming year right now. We need to invest in programs that enable communities to thrive. To truly meet the needs of individuals and families across the country, we must also expand economic assistance to curtail the rising costs of necessities like childcare, housing, food, and health care for low-income families. We also need to divest from abusive immigration enforcement that separates families, policing systems that dehumanize our neighbors, and provisions that negatively impact our climate.
Join us in urging Congress to move our communities towards economic justice as they prepare the FY23 budget.
