For hundreds of years, New Mexico communities celebrate the feast day of San Ysidro, the patron saint of farmers, by blessing the acequias. Join the procession from Isleta & Arenal SW in Albuquerque to the historic Sanchez Farm/La Plazita Gardens. The acequia will be filled wiht flowers and blessing given by the Isleta Pueblo, Navajo Nation, Red Wolf Clan, Lakhota, Danzantes, and Catholic Penetente Brothers. A simple homemade farm lunch will be served afterwards. Bring flower petals!
