LOCAL PEACE GROUPS DELIVER LETTERS TO IOWA CONGRESSIONAL OFFICES
Representatives are acknowledged for opposing war in Syria and asked to oppose drone warfare
DES MOINES – (Catholic Peace Ministry news services, 9-26-13) Letters were delivered this week to local congressional offices by Catholic Peace Ministry, the American Friends Service Committee, and the Iowa Chapter of the Methodist Federation for Social Action. The message to Representative Tom Latham and Senators Tom Harkin and Chuck Grassley is that citizens uphold their opposition to war in Syria and call for the same scrutiny of drone warfare.
