Alternatives to Military Service

AFSC in South East New England offers counseling, resources, and education to people of all ages interested in clear answers to important questions of military enlistment, conscientious objection to war, options for funding education, possibilities of a military draft and non-military service opportunities.

AFSC is conducting a comprehensive campaign of counter-recruitment education and organizing designed to offer practical alternatives to military service while undermining the foundations of the militarization of youth. In high schools, town meetings, and in state legislatures, AFSC is working to give youth hope and to resist efforts to make students and rising leaders into soldiers.

To schedule a training, join our Counter-Recruitment volunteer team, or to find out more about AFSC's historic witness against war and violence, email AFSC SENE.
