The Indian Program supports Northwest tribes by fostering a grassroots movement that promotes healing, culture, civil society, community and leadership. We support a variety of programs, including the annual Intertribal Canoe Journey, an indigenous Film Festival, and a number of speaking engagements on Tribal Sovereignty and Treaty Rights with regard to gaming and fishing in the Pacific Northwest. We are here to provide strategic technical assistance and material support to progressive leadership, build organizational capacity and strengthen and affirm cultural and political identities of Native Americans and the Inter-tribal Canoe Society in the Pacific NW region.
