In Washington DC AFSC supports two programs.

The National Office of Public Policy and Advocacy supports efforts to change government policy at the federal and state levels.

The D.C. Peace and Economic Justice Program seeks to educate, train and advocate on behalf of the D.C. area community in issues around peace building, economic justice and human rights.
