The Area Office of the Carolinas, located in Greensboro, N.C., coordinates two main programs: the NC Immigrant Rights Program and the Carolinas Peace and Economic Justice Program.

The NC Immigrant Rights Program (NC IRP) seeks to build a community which values that human dignity of all NC residents. We work towards a North Carolina in which immigrants and non-immigrants advocate together for fair and just policies that respect the rights of all.

Through our digital storytelling workshops, immigrants learn to document their own stories through short films and raise awareness among non-immigrants.

The North Carolina Peace and Economic Justice Program helps identify and counteract discrimination, trauma, and violence toward groups and individuals, specifically youth of color. We work to build a community of young people working for social peace and economic justice.
