Conflict Resolution Services

The Conflict Resolution Program has developed the following materials and services to support groups to develop knowledge and skills for dealing with conflict in constructive ways. We welcome inquiries from any one seeking advice or assistance.

Training

  • An introduction and practice of basic skills in conflict resolution - Using an interactive approach that brings out existing knowledge, this training looks at how we respond to conflict and how we can do so constructively rather than desctructively.
  • How to make difficult conversations constructive? - Using role playing and experience, this training focuses on the hardest conversations we have with our friends, family and coworkers, and helps people to develop new habits that create new openings for difficult conversations.

Materials

  • A Short Guide to Dialogue - This booklet introduces the basic ideas and approaches for bringing a group of people together with different and often antagonistic views for meaningful discussion.
