Afghans for Afghans

Afghani children wearing knitted mittens

Logan, Utah's The Herald Journal recently published an article referencing an AFSC partner group, afghans for Afghans, whose mission is to ship knitted items to needy children in Afghanistan. The article is the story of a knitting group in Utah that contributes knitted mittens to the afghans for Afghans project.

AFSC is proud to support the 11-year old nationwide "afghans for Afghans" knitters' campaigns that reflect personal, direct, and practical ways for people to express their concern for the people of Afghanistan.
