New England Region

The New England Regional Office (NERO) of the American Friends Service Committee was established in 1926.   We have seven field offices located throughout the New England Region as well as a regional office in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  While we administer over twenty programs in diverse community settings, our work falls into four primary areas: youth, social justice, economic justice, and peace building.  A firm belief in the dignity and worth of every human being and faith in the power of love to overcome violence and injustice are at the core of our mission as a peace and justice organization.
