Israel-Palestine Peacebuilding Program

The work of the Israel-Palestine program in the United States focuses on challenging the U.S. support for Israeli occupation of Gaza, the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and promoting self-determination and equal rights for all.

We do this by:

organizing speaking tours in the US for Quaker groups, Christian groups, grassroots activists, and college campuses;
producing information and resources about the situation in Israel-Palestine;
providing opportunities for people to challenge US policy toward the Palestinian-Israeli conflict;
educating media professionals and policymakers;
organizing leadership training seminars for student leaders;
participating in the building of coalitions for faith-based and other groups working on challenging US policy toward the Palestinian-Israeli conflict
confronting anti-Arab, anti-Muslim, and anti-Jewish discrimination;
producing When the Rain Returns: Toward Justice and Reconciliation in Palestine and Israel , by the International Quaker Working Party on Israel and Palestine, to stimulate new ways of thinking about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and mobilize people to action; and
assisting in the development of the US Campaign to End Israeli Occupation by serving on its steering committee and providing program and technical support for the network.
