Queers for Justice (Q4J)

The Queers for Justice strives to end oppression of LGBTIQ people by empowering youth, building solidarity with other marginalized groups, and creating a vibrant community that values internal and external diversity. We take a cross-issue, cross-constituency approach in our work to build alliances with people of faith, Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) people, and youth. We seek to make schools and communities safer and more welcoming for LGBT people, particularly youth, and to empower LGBT youth by supporting their voice as advocates for their own issues and developing leadership and organizing skills.
