The Eyes Wide Open exhibit has been traveling through Texas and up the coast of southern California. Committed to drawing attention to the staggering number of lives lost, it is a public declaration of our conviction that war is never the answer.
We face the people of this country.
It is a public event, and every city is different - fifty so far. There are many who thank us and receive strength to speak out against this war, there are a few who attack, unwilling to accept the real cost of this war. There are many who walk away with personal transformations. The tensions are illustrated in the snapshots below. We will continue to tour the country; building bridges, making our case for immediate withdrawal, and putting forward alternative solutions.
