Quaker Service Circle

Q. What is the Quaker Service Circle?

A. The Quaker Service Circle is made up of contributors who sustain AFSC's work on a regular basis through monthly gifts.

Q. How does the Quaker Service Circle work?

A. Each month, you have a fixed sum transferred automatically from your checking account or a charge made on your credit card. This is similar to other electronic payments such as mortgage or utility bills. Your donation is transferred directly into AFSC's bank account.

Q. What if I want to change the amount of my gift?

A. Write or call the Donor Services Unit (toll free 1-888-588-2372, ext. 1) in the AFSC Development Office and we will be glad to increase or decrease your gift amount when you wish. You also may cancel your participation in the Quaker Service Circle at any time.

Q. What are the advantages of the Quaker Service Circle?

A. Electronic payments reduce the volume of mail you'll receive. Also, you will save the time needed to write checks and the cost of postage to mail them. Best of all, you can be assured that AFSC has a reliable, regular source of support for our programs around the world.

Q. What's the next step?

A. Call us at 1-888-588-2372 to set up your Monthly Giving through a credit card. Or simply print out this page and complete the coupon below, choosing either regular deductions from your checking account or a regular credit card charge. We'll do the rest.

Q. What record will I have of my gift?

A. Your checking account or credit card statement will show each transaction, and you will receive an annual receipt at the end of the calendar year.
