Women Standing Up for Freedom

If you are one (or how many) who wants to stand up for women's rights SAVE THIS DATE:  September 8, Nollen Plaza – 9 am for WOMEN STANDING UP FOR FREEDOM - DANCING:  WILPF member Penny Furgerson, Director of the Gateway Dance Theatre will be directing a Global Dance Action (think the end of Slumdog Millionaire) sponsored by the Women's Int'l League for Peace and Freedom, DSM Branch.  Planned Parenthood and American Friends Service Committee have signed on and we are expecting co-sponsors from a myriad of other like-minded organizations.  Be on the lookout for more information and get prepared to raise your feet and the people's consciousness - WE ARE NOT STANDING STILL FOR A BETRAYAL OF OUR RIGHTS!!!!  Global Dance Action Committee  WILPF Des Moines Branch
