A night of youth power, with special guests: UniVision14's news anchor Maria Leticia Gomez, spoken word artist Yosimar Reyes, Head Rush popular theater.

Building on our recent $1000 seed grant from Ashoka Youth Ventures, our goal is to fundraise ten thousand --  to pay youth stipends and local artists, to buy materials, and to stage a health fair.  With your support, a powerful mural will go up in Oakland's Fruitvale district, where many undocumented people suffer from failed immigration policies and from lack of lack of affordable health care, local and healthy food, and safe working environments.

Come enjoy some delicious food, young people's voices, spoken word, popular theater, short videos, raffle and auctions.  Admission $5-20; no one turned away for lack of funds.     https://www.facebook.com/events/213113562127898/
