Robert Naiman: How we can defeat the drone strike strategy

Thursday, January 17, 2013 - 7:00pm

Chicago Area Peace Action (CAPA) and co-sponsor American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) will present this program featuring Robert Naiman, Policy Director at Just Foreign Policy, who was part of the delegation that went to Pakistan in early October 2012 to witness the horrific aftermath of drones. The delegation of citizen diplomats also brought the message of peace to the people of Pakistan. Mr. Naiman will discuss the delegation’s trip to Pakistan as well as what we can do to defeat the drone strike strategy.

Robert Naiman has worked as a policy analyst and researcher at the Center for Economic and Policy Research and Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch. He has master's degrees in economics and mathematics from the University of Illinois and has studied and worked in the Middle East.
