The Iowa Chapter of the Methodist Federation for Social Action focus its Fall 2011 Regional Gatherings on the federal budget. The Polk City event will be hosted by Hugh Stone with devotions by Shari Miller.

Let’s take a look at where

our tax dollars go,

what scripture and our faith

say about budget priorities,

what we think would

constitute a balanced budget,

whether the military budget

is out of proportion, and

what we can do about it.
