Join us in conversation with Malalaia Joya, Afghanistan's leading peace activist. Malalai will discuss her views on the present situation in Afghanistan, where she opposes both U.S. intervention and any and all forms of oppression of Afghan women. She will also address the issue of drone bombings as well as the other issues related to peace and social justice.

Malalai will be joined on stage by Mary Dean, who has a unique perspective of the country following her 2011 visit.
