IRAQI STUDENT PROJECT INC

Saturday, May 19, 2012 - 7:30pm

Dear Friends,

Please let all your music friends know about Karam's concert in Evanston on May 19th.  He will be performing at St. Nicholas Church on Ridge at Washington Street at 7:30 PM.  As you recall, he has been most generous in doing concerts for Iraqi Student Project students over the past four years. This concert is for his own needs.

He will be graduating from Holy Cross in South Bend, Indiana on May 13th and has been accepted at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. They have a wonderful program that prepares students to compose music for the film industry, a profession Karam is uniquely suited for.

That's the good news.  Unfortunately, the acceptance did not come with any scholarship or tuition assistance.  Karam needs to be a student in order to retain his student visa.  Returning to Baghdad at the moment would be difficult especially since his parents have left the country.  To put together money for tuition, he is doing a concert tour which you can learn more about at:

Thanks in advance for helping a really wonderful musician and person to realize his dream.
