Interfaith Service - Postponed due to storm

Thursday, January 12, 2012 - 4:00pm - 7:30pm

Due to the storm forecast, the Interfaith Service for Economic Justice, with Rev. Dr. Paul Sherry, is being postponed to February 2, same time, same location.

Rev. Dr. Paul Sherry, former director of Let Justice Roll and former national president of the United Church of Christ, is currently the Director of Public Policy at the DC Office of Interfaith Workers Justice.  At a date that will soon be announced, he will lead an interfaith service timed to coincide with the early days of the 2012 legislative session, when once again the rights of workers will be challenged by proposed legislation.   Following the service, labor and faith-based activists will hold a discussion of current issues.  A light dinner will be available.

Rev. Dr. Sherry will also meet with clergy over lunch at the NH United Church of Christ Conference Canter at noon.
