"Brother Outsider" tells the story of Bayard Rustin, disciple of Mahatma Gandhi, mentor to Martin Luther King, Jr., architect of the 1963 March on Washington, and a man who lived an openly gay life during the fiercely homophobic 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s.
