EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

On Marting Luther King, Jr. Day, please join us for a press conference and peaceful gathering to ask DOT director Paul Trombino to change his mind about denying drivers’ licenses to Deferred Action youth. This is the time to act!

On December 27, 2012, the Iowa DOT announced that it will deny driver’s licenses to Deferred Action grantees. AFSC and its Dreamers Network believe that this decision is misguided and unfair. So please join us in this effort to demand change and fairness for the Dreamers. We will have American flags and signs ready. Please also look at this list of suggested messages to present a united front if you are holding a solidarity event in your own community.

Event sponsored by: AFSC, AFSC Iowa Dreamers Network, and Dreamers’ allies.

Location

Sidewalk in front of the Driver's License Station
2339 Euclid Ave. (also known as River Place, or the "old Target"
