The Des Moines Catholic Worker community is celebrating its 35th anniversary Sept 30 & Oct 1. All are invited and welcome to join us at any and all of the following event:

Friday Sept 30

What: "The CW Movement and its Relevance Today" talk by  Martha Hennessy - Granddaughther of Dorothy Day

Time: 7:30 p.m. Reception to follow in basement of church.

Place: Trinity United Methodist Church,1548 8th Street Des Moines, IA.

(3 blocks south of the DMCW - site of our Sat. a.m. Free Food Store.)

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - Donations welcomed....

Oct 1 - Saturday -

What: Mass with Fr David Polich

Time: 9 a.m.

Site: Bp Dingman CW House, 1310 7th St. Des Moines IA

What: Neighborhood Picnic, Talent Show, Music and Story Telling - DMCW Open House

Time: Noon to 2 p.m. Picnic

          2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Talent Show, Music and Story Telling

Site: DM Catholic Worker 1310 7th St. DM IA
