The Cost of War

This program is part of the Windows and Mirrors Exhibit--Reflections on the War in Afghanistan, AFSC’s traveling mural exhibit

of large-scale paintings memorializing Afghan civilian casualties.

7 – 7:30 Reception with light refreshments

7:30 – 9 Program with brief presentations on the economic costs of the Afghanistan War; its impact on domestic programs; and The People’s Budget. Q & A will follow, with discussion of action plans for 10th Anniversary of the Afghanistan War on October 7. 

AFSC Georgia Peace Center is located--Two blocks from the Five Points MARTA Station (Take Forsyth St. exit—walk two blocks north; left on Walton; AFSC is a few doors down!)
