9/11 CommUNITY Reflections & Renewal

Sunday, September 11, 2011 - 10:00am - 12:00pm

Join with others of other backgrounds and experiences on the 10th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 tragedies at a community dialogue to:

  • Share your thoughts and feelings of that day and all that followed
  • Listen to others express their thoughts and feelings
  • Reflect collectively on how the tragedies both divided and united people and the nation
  • Renew yourself to become more aware of ways to seek unity with others

This will be an inclusive, open gathering. There will be no keynote speakers or formal program. Everyone is welcome to contribute or just listen.

Following the period of reflection, there will be music and a community potluck brunch. In the spirit of inclusion, we invite you to bring a dish to share with others. Table service and beverages provided.
