Economic Justice in the United States

Make the Minimum Wage a Living Wage

Last year, the federal minimum wage increased to $5.85 an hour. It will then rise to $6.25 in July 2008, and $7.25 in July 2009.  AFSC helped win this victory for 13 million workers, but more remains to be done.
