War and the Economy

Congress is considering an economic stimulus package. They know that investing in things that create jobs will help. But they also know that the war is costing a LOT of money, and they just bailed out Wall St. That makes for tough choices.

Over half the federal budget is already tied up in the military-industrial complex (replacing all the weapons, vehicles, etc used in the wars. Good for the economy? A little. But a lot of other things do more good.
