The killing of Trayvon Martin in Florida and the fact that his killer remains free one month later has focused attention on the reality of racial profiling.  It is a legacy of the racism that is in the fibers of our culture.  It has many faces, from crossing the street to  avoid a bunch of teens to police stopping and frisking youth of color on a regular basis.
