Workshop on Islamohphobia

Recorded on October 19th, 2010.  This event discussed anti-Muslim rhetoric in the U.S. since the September 11th attacks.  While some media commentators seem to be encouraging stereotypes and misconceptions, many interfaith dialogue groups have provided an opportunity for Americans to become more acquainted with Islam and American Muslims.  They explore who makes up the American Muslim community, their positions on issues such as terrorism and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and why Islamophobia is on the increase today.
