Apeman is a Festival for people from different backgrounds to gather and get involved in the activities. This traditional event is forum for diversity that preserve inter-group harmony in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Celebration of International Peace Day in Providence RI

Sunday, September 19, 2010 - 3:00pm - 6:00pm

A celebration of community, culture and our longing for peace.  The first part of the afternoon includes performances by local cultural groups, a tables hosted by community groups, face painting, and the making of peace flags.  The event concludes with a walking meditaion and interfaith prayers for peace.
