May 1st Rally and March to Austin City Hall
On May 1st the Austin office, along with the Austin Immigrants Rights Coalition sponsored and organized a march and rally to push for more just and humane immigration policies. The march intentionally passed by the Travis County Jail, where in spite of a large outcry from the Austin community, federal immigration agents will now have a permanent office.

Delegations to the U.S. - Mexico Border
Austin Tan Cerca de la Frontera "Austin So Close to the Border" is a program of AFSC Austin Office. These quarterly delegations to the U.S.-Mexico border create a sense of community and solidarity across political boundaries. They also address issues of economic injustice.
