Everyone is invited to a roundtable event, "For Further Discussion: Confronting Extremist Violence, the Refugee Crisis, and Fear,"  a follow up to the May interfaith panel thay involved over 300 area residents. This program will take place on Tuesday, August 30, from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Kansas City Public Library's Central Library and will consist of up to 12 simultaneous table discussons on topics such as: Syrian Refugee crisis; Islamophobia; Fear And U.S.
We summarize activities from the last two weeks and share an interview with Imam Paul Hasan, AFSC committee person, and Greg Coleridge on the national Move to Amend Reports about their reflections on activities during the Republican National Convention.
