Support the Future Fund

The West Virginia Future Fund – financed by severance taxes on extracted minerals – would provide a permanent source of wealth for West Virginia. It would provide the means for communities where minerals are extracted – coal counties and gas counties – to promote economic development and economic diversification. It would provide a cushion during down times and the means to secure a future that is prosperous after the minerals are depleted. Learn more.
